Shelby Wild, an all-around amazing human, created a stunning line of natural hair products, but she didn't have a brand. So working with the good folks at Manual, we built her one from the ground up: brand strategy, content strategy, product naming and content for both packaging and the website.

Since Playa debuted in June, the response to the brand and the products has been mind-blowing. Rave reviews from VogueAllure, Refinery29, People. A sold-out-in-minutes launch on Violet Grey. We couldn't be more proud to have been involved.

How great it is to be in the backyard of one of the best university systems in the whole world: The University of California! We've been lucky to work with them on several projects this year. In fact, this was our third year working with the gurus at Mucho on the anything-but-stuffy annual report for UC Investments, the office that deftly manages and grows the UC system's funds.

There's nothing more inspiring to us than people who know their stuff — deeply. The scientists at Nucleo are insanely talented and have created their company to help drug companies get their products out into the world more safely, effectively and quickly. Working with the talented Arin Fishkin, we helped define Nucleo's brand voice and then crafted the content for their new site.

St. Peter's Catholic School

One of our favorite recent projects is a new website for St. Peter's Catholic School in the Mission district of San Francisco. I've never met a sweeter group of kids or more devoted teachers and staff.

Since the school does everything humanly possible to make sure any child who wants to go to school there is able to, they rely heavily on generous donors to make up the difference between the modest tuition and what parents can afford to pay. Proud to work with The Engine Roomto give them a website that shows the school in the very best light and makes giving easy.
