ABOUT LAURA

A writer at heart & a brand strategist by design.

I started Story House after working for years as a reporter and editor. I now use my journalistic skills to tease out compelling stories for an eclectic mix of amazing clients. My favorite thing? Taking blah-blah-blah corporate-ese and turning it into content that’s clear, fresh and irresistible. I’m crazily efficient, calm under pressure, and genuinely love helping my clients make a true connection with their customers.

I got my MFA in fiction at University of Montana and have written one novel that’s tucked away on an old hard drive somewhere in my basement. I wish I still had my 1957 Ford F100 pickup, but fulfilled another vintage vehicle dream when I purchased a 1958 Shasta trailer. I have a crazily talented husband and a 15-year-old daughter who loves tennis, TikTok, and rolling her eyes at me.
